I was thinking of things to do for our upcoming first-year anniversary. The wifey, who is from Spain originally, told me she heard there is a little Dutch town called Solvang, and that she had been wanting to see it. Yahtzee! I found this hotel after looking through several of the available options on Booking.com, and I must say, we were not disappointed. I called ahead and asked if I could have a package of rose petals and little heart=shaped LED candles shipped there ahead of time and if there was any way someone there could arrange them nicely in the room somehow. By the time I was done asking, honestly, I wouldn't have been surprised if they said it wasn't something they could do. However, the young lady I spoke with was not only receptive to the idea, she was excited about helping, and most importantly, she did a great job! My wife was so surprised when we walked into the room. I loved seeing the big smile it brought to her face. It is a lovely hotel, in a great location, with excellent amenities and world class service. I would recommend this hotel, and the next time we are in Solvang, this is where we will be staying.

Pretty much everything was satisfactory. I had excellent experiences with the staff and other patrons. My room was clean, and the plumbing and air conditioning worked great, which is super important. Comfortable bedding, good TV. The lounge has a great feel, and the bartender was wonderful and recommended amazing drinks! The pool and jacuzzi were clean. The location was good for me - it's right at the entrance to Solvang, so a bit further than the hotels that are right there in the heart of the city, but I'm totally fine with a short walk to get to the main action. I stayed on a Friday, so it was pricey for a night, but I think the value was good considering how much I enjoyed my stay and other hotels are way more expensive or just as expensive for less quality. This is my favorite hotel I've stayed at in Solvang!

The location and value was PERFECT. The design and decor was darling. They have a wine lounge and cold brew on tap! There were snacks and bites set out in the morning and throughout the day. The staff was wonderful from the front desk (one had glasses and such a pleasant demeanor / and the other while busy at check-in was very prompt and attentive to assist us with getting into our room). The bartender Rick was great and even the Maintenance Men -- very speedy changing the empty cold brew and fixing our TV not having signal. The bed was super comfy and the room was a great size, the bath products offered smelled fantastic. The hotel was such a gem to find!

Many amenities including a keurig with coffee and tea, comfortable beds, a little patio balcony off our room, modernized place with happy hour in lounge. A short walk to all the attractions and goodies solvang has to offer. Everyone is friendly. I had a number to text for any questions or concerns, very convenient! All my interactions with staff were positive! Thank you Vinland! I'll be back!
